P.J. Robertson started her career in the customer service industry, learning the values of personalized service and catering to specific needs. Eventually through common interests, she met Judith Handwerker, who needed the personal level of customer service and administrative skills that P.J. provided (1994). They worked alongside each other until her counterpart was diagnosed with lupus. By this time P.J. was well on her way of being licensed by the State of California, and became a National Guardian member around the same time.

Judy confidently passed on her cases to P.J., giving Judy time to enjoy her retirement, fight her illness, and to be with family. Since then, P.J. has taken on the clients of her senior as well as many cases of her own, branching out to other states (ex: Texas, Oregon, New Mexico, Illinois.) She has also been requested time and again to work with the Native American tribes along the west coast.
